Eddie Clifford Harold affectionally known as “Peas” was born on December 22, 1938 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William G. and Rosa Lee Harold. He attended the local schools of Duval County graduating from Matthew W. Gilbert.
Eddie was United in Holy Matrimony to. Doris Harold. He served as a Merchant Seaman and Member International Longshoremen for many years. Eddie was well known for his cooking abilities, shoe shining expertise and loving spirit.
Eddie made his eternal transition on Saturday, May 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Ann Harold (Shine); mother, Rosa Lee Harold; father, William Harold; brothers, William J. Harold, twin brothers Donald E. Harold (Joe Plate), Milton Harold, Alvin Harold (Papa Snag), Claude Harold, Sr., Herman Pridgen (Champ), George Harold (Bimbo), and one name unknown; sisters, Betty Harold, Louise Harold-Heyser (Bumpsy), and Geraldine West.
Peas leaves to mourn his passing but to cherish his memories, his wife, Doris Harold; daughters, Cheryl Ross, Rosalyn Lewis (Toney), and Charisse Hunter (James); son, Michael (Bubba) Scott (Princess); grandchildren, Kimyata, Nookie, Smokie, Chrishaun (Deangelo), Aneglica, Edward, Ivy (Alesia), Vickie, Latoria, Michael J, Michael L, Marcus, Marco, Kris, Kayla, and Kiersten; sister, Elder Buena Vista Harold; brother, Nathaniel Harold; in laws, Frances Harold, New Jersey; special friends, Leroy Gates, Pete LaRosa, and Lucille McCloud; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
