Edith Carolyn Powell

Edith Carolyn Powell was born on October 31, 1941 to Vincent and Gertrude in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended the local schools graduating from Douglas Anderson High School.

Edith quietly answered the Master’s call on Friday, February 5, 2021. She will be greatly missed.

Edith leaves to mourn her passing but to cherish her memories, her children, Fredrick Taylor, Archie Powell, Jr., Voncile Simpson and Betty Taylor (deceased); devoted grandchildren, Katrina Taylor, Erin Taylor, Danyalle Taylor, Tameka Taylor, Laura Odom, Michael Simpson, Ernest Taylor, Alesha Parham and Archie Powell, II; siblings, George Taylor, Lilian Reed and Edna Austin; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
