Elder Anthony Joseph Wescott

November 27, 1958 ~ September 2, 2021 (age 62)


Elder Anthony Wescott passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, September 2, 2021 after a gradual decline in health.  He was surrounded and supported by his loving family. Anthony was born to the late Willie Joseph Wescott and the late Elizabeth Devore in Jacksonville Florida.

Anthony served eight years in the United States Army. He accepted Christ in September of 1993.  He served faithfully in the Lord’s Church as Minister, Elder, Usher, and Head of Evangelism.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Saundra Wescott; children, Anthony L. Wescott, Taneisha Wescott, Adrien Jones-Whitty (Albert), Jonathan Rouse (Amber), Tabitha Wescott, Mariah Wescott, and Larry Shawn Phelps (adopted); sisters, Sherell Wilson (Pastor Leonard), Sandra Wescott Mack (Rudolph), Thomasenia Latson (deceased), and Barbara Cooper (deceased); eleven grandchildren; father-n-law, David Jones: mother-in-law, Geraldine Jones (deceased); cousins, Bobby Harris (Joan), Ernest Johnson (Margaret); and a host of other family, loved-ones, members and friends.
