Elijah Blanding was born June 19, 1946 to Rebecca Blanding and Murray Bronson in Sumter, South Carolina.
Elijah was united in Holy Matrimony to Daisy Blanding for 27 years. He retired from Gold Kiss as a Processor. Elijah loved taking walks and seeing sights. He attended Gethsemane Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.
Elijah Blanding went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rebecca Blanding and Murray Bronson; and his siblings, Murray Blanding, Dorothy Moon. Luicius Blanding, Mamie Lee Matthews, his twin Liza Blanding, Dallas Bronson and Winnie Washington.
Elijah leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Daisy Blanding; children, Elijah Lorenzo Blanding and Camelia Starke (Antone); grandchildren, Marquelle Robinson (Brittany), Ashlee Cox (Jaymieon), Jaymie Robinson, Rodneshia Robinson, and Karen Spann-Green (Harold); a host of great grandchildren; siblings, Richard Blanding, Earl Bronson and Rose Julius; special niece, Thelma Dickerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
