Elvis Dwayne Albertie, Sr.

Elvis Dwayne Albertie was born on November 22, 1962, to the late Oliver and Freedonia Albertie. He graduated from Fernandina Beach High School. After Graduation, he joined the United States Air Force where he served for eleven years, from November 24,1981 to January 24th, 1992. During that time, he traveled around the World three times, fighting for our country during the Gulf War where unfortunately, he was exposed to the legendary “Agent Orange”, and survived. Never losing his famous Albertie charm, he worked hard and earned the rank of Sargent. Sargent Elvis Albertie was honorably discharged from the Air Force with multiple awards such as The National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Medal, Organizational Excellence Award, Air Force Overseas Ribbon, Longevity Service Award and a Professional Education Graduate Ribbon. He further went on and graduated from Advanced Career Training in 2008 with his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

After serving his country he started a family with Robin Fleming, and together they welcomed to this world Elvis Dwayne Albertie, Jr. and Xaviar Oliver Albertie. In 2001 Elvis met Stacy Leffall and her daughter Shaneatra Nance. Together they welcomed Ariyanna Nicole, Adrian Marquis, Marquis Dwayne, and Alyssa Brenae Albertie. He built a loving and warm home for all his children and grandchildren, supported his family and friends, and was always there for the people he loved. He was loved immensely, respected by all. He leaves behind a place in all our hearts. We are grateful for his love and light were a blessing to have experienced, and he will never be forgotten.

On Sunday, November 12, 2023, Elvis began his walk unto eternal life. He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Albertie; his mother, Freedonia Albertie; his siblings, Shirley King, Horace Albertie and Eddie Lee Jones; and his beloved son, Adrian Albertie.

Elvis leaves to cherish his memories; wife, Stacy Albertie; children, Shaneatra Nance, Elvis Albertie Jr., Xavier Albertie, Aryianna Albertie, Marquis Albertie, and Alyssa Albertie; his grandchildren, Alius Easter, Elvis Albertie III, Ermias Albertie, and Emmett Albertie; siblings, Ruby Way, Lawrence Albertie, Leatha Albertie, Darlene Albertie and Judy Lizzamore; a special niece, Lashonda Johnson; a special nephew, Trez Albertie; and a host of other loving family and friends.
