Eugene Wilcher

On September 14, 2021, a life on earth ended and a life in Heaven began. On this day Mr. Eugene Wilcher was taken from us when the Lord took him unto himself.

Mr. Eugene Wilcher (Mr. Buddy) was born on August 4, 1937, in Bartow, Georgia to the late Mr. Robert & Mrs. Lorene Wilcher at a early age he moved to New York and later to Jacksonville, Florida. He was a member of Local 517 Laborer’s International Union of North America and was employed with Ponte Vedra Inn & Club for over 22 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Sadie Wilcher-Drayton (Richard); son, Jessie Jordan; granddaughters, Saderia Davis and Alexis Walton; grandson, Christopher Reynolds; two great grandchildren, Messiah Walton and Marlyee Walton; two sisters, Mattie Hill (John) and Ruthie Cody (Allen); two brothers, Roger Wilcher (Paula) and Rufus Wilcher; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
