Eva Miller Obituary

Eva Jackson Miller was born on January 31, 1921 in the community of Arrecdona in Gainesville, Florida. She grew up and received her schooling there.

Eva moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she met and married the late Eddie L. Miller. They were married for over 60 years until his passing. They settled on the Southside of Jacksonville before moving to the Greenland area where they lived until her passing.

Eva loved her church; it was her passion and all of the children was hers. She and Mr. E was loved. She enjoyed fishing. If you didn’t find her at church she could be found on the fish creek. She was well known as Mother Miller and will be truly missed.

God saw fit to send His angel of death into the room of Eva Mae Miller with its love and tender care to relieve her from the troubles of this world. On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, Eva Mae Miller entered into her eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Eddie L. Miller.

Eva leaves to mourn her passing but her forever cherish her memories, three sisters, Catherine Buggs, Betty Miller, and Mary Jane Gamble; one brother, Eddie Jackson; one sister-in-law, Mary Lee Humpry; and a host of many, many, nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
