Evangelist Barbara Jean Times (BJ the Bear) was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 5, 1950 to the late Minister Mary E. Times. Evangelist Barbara Jean Times was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a loving sister, cousin and a true friend.
Evangelist Barbara Jean Times loved to recite the passage, Malachi Chapter 3 verses 8, 9, 10 and 11 (“will a man rob God”). She became a member of Covered Ministries in the year of 2012 un the leadership of Apostle Jamell Dashon Sapp, Sr. Evangelist Times attended and graduated from Stanton Senior High School. She continued her education at FCCJ where she graduated and received her Bachelor’s Degree.
Evangelist Times departed this life on June 29, 2021. She leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Darrell Miller; sisters, Clara Times-Brooks; brother, Alfred Times; favorite brother-in-law, Frank Brooks, Jr.; granddaughters, Darrieal Miller and DeJasmine Miller; grandson, Jeremiah Woods; seven great grandchildren; godson, DeWright Follins; close friends, Jeanette Pough (since 12 years old), Betty J. Young, Maxine Patrick, and Katherine Shuman; two spiritual daughters, Diane Streeter and Diana Rhodes; and a tremendous host of other relatives and friends.
