Evelyn T. Woodard

Ms. Evelyn T. Woodard (Auntie Kid) entered this realm of life on May 17, 1952, born to Hugh M. Respess & Claudie Mae Respess (Mathis) in Jacksonville, Florida. Evelyn was dedicated member of Springfield Christian Church.

Evelyn was educated, lived and worked in Jacksonville, Florida. She was an amazing woman of joy, strength and determination until the day of her return to the Father. She was a devoted mother, aunt, sister and friend. She loved her family and shared all that she had. She enjoyed sitting with family and friends sharing life stories and lessons of which so many have benefited.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh M. Respess and Claudie Mae Respess (Mathis); and her siblings, Hugh M. Respess, Jr., Felton E. Respess, George Respess (Uncle Boady), Sara Respess, Adele Holston, Rachel Paige, Nellie Mae Kirksey, Annie Lou Miller and Annie Bell Respess.

Left to cherish great memories of her are, her children, Robert Stevens and Doretta Stevens; grandsons, John H. Green III, Steven P. Green, Justin D. Green (Vanessa) and Kyvon Stevens: granddaughters, Crystal Stevens, Shantasia Lawrence (Rasheed) and Aubrey Stevens; great grands, Demetree, Jeilan, Gabrielle and Jade; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her witty presence.
