Flora Mae Stewart was born March 3, 1931 in Nashville, Georgia to the late Joe Davis, Sr. and Rosie Lee Stanley Davis. Flora departed this life on January 17, 2021. She attended grade school in the state of Georgia, the completed her education when the family relocated in Tribly, Florida.
She was married to her loving husband Tom P. Green until his death. She then married the man of her dreams, Robert Stewart. She worked several jobs, Avante Villas and Duval County Public School Board where she retired. She was a member of Good Samaritan Life Changing Ministry for a number of years until she relocated to Tampa, Florida where she was a member of Faith Temple Church of God and served on the Mother Board until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Davis, Sr. and Rosie Lee Davis; husband, Robert Stewart; daughter, Latricia Bennet; son, Marty Stewart; five brothers; and one sister. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Robert, Tom, Timmy, Barbara, Bobbi Jean, Wesley, Beverly, Winifred and Marion; four brothers, Nathaniel, Robert Lee, Moses and Johnny; two sisters, Evelyn and Lena Mae; two sons-in-law, Melvin and Eddie; three daughters-in-law, Darlene, Annie Mae and Barbara; four sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many sorrowing friends and loved ones.
