Caring, Devoted, Jazzy, and Strength are a few words to describe our sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Her life was a testament to those who knew her.
Flossie Mae Hardwick Thomas, better known as Baby, was born on December 26, 1936 in Herod, Georgia to the late Savannah Dempsey Wooten and Arthur Hardwick.
Flossie received her education through the public schools of Terrell County, GA. Realizing that work was an integral part of any person’s life and ultimately her character, she was employed by Duval County School System for almost 30 years until her retirement.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, our dear loved one gave up the busy walk-of-life for eternity with our Heavenly Father. Our hearts will mourn her physical presence, but our souls will rejoice for the years we were blessed to have her apart of our lives as there is no earthly sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur L. Clark and Johnny L. Thomas; and sisters, Katie M. Jackson and Bessie M. Francis.
Fond memories of her love and laughter will always remain in the hearts and minds of her loving family, which include: sister, Beauty M. Baker, Atlantic Beach, FL; three step sisters; two step brothers; sister-in-law, Mary L. Thomas, Philadelphia, PA; nieces: December (Chyanne) Baker, Atlanta, GA; Kathy Thomas, Dawson, GA; Charlene Taylor (Thomas), McKinney, TX; Fren R. Milner, Buena Vista, GA; Frenchi Thomas, Philadelphia, PA; Valerie Beverly (Thomas), Philadelphia, PA; Beverley A.
