Freddie Wilburn Obituary

Freddie Lee Wilburn was born January 8, 1958 to Geneva Wilburn Trice and Fred Wilburn in Jacksonville, Florida. Freddie graduated from William M. Raines class of 1976.

Freddie married Ava Pender on July 16, 1976 and celebrated 44 beautiful years of marriage. He served in the United States Army for 16 years before being employed by the Bulk Mail Center.

Freddie was a member of Epiphany Baptist Church. Freddie enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports, and playing Candy Crush.

Freddie went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 12, 2020. He was preceded in death by his son, Frederick Wilburn; his parents, Geneva Trice and Fred Wilburn; his brothers, Albert Floyd Jr. and Larry Davis; and mother in-law, Alice Pender.

Freddie leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Ava; daughters Shuntrell, Ashley and Leanna; grandchildren, Zykeria, Jahmia, Jamel Jr., Jayla, Jaylen, Avayonna, Frederick Jr., Amerah, Amir and Vanessa; brothers, Otha Sr. (Constance) and Marion (Sharon); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
