Garry Stewart (53) of Jacksonville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2020. Mr. Stewart was born in Jacksonville Florida to the late Alexander and Evelyn Stewart on October 18, 1966. After graduating from Nathan B. Forest High School (Class of 1984), he served in the United States Army, and was employed by Prudential Insurance Company and AT&T.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Stewart; his mother, Evelyn Stewart; his brother, Reginald Stewart; and his sister Deborah Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Stewart of 10 years; four sons, Garry Robinson, Garry Stewart (Jasmine), Darryl Ray (Brittney), and Anthony Ray; three brothers, John Stewart, Edwin Stewart (Renee), and twin brother, Barry Stewart (Pamela); 7 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Celebration of Life will be held 11:00am, Saturday, August 29 at The Potter’s House International Ministries, 5119 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
Due to CDC guidelines on social distancing, the Celebration of Life will be by invitation only due to limited seating and can be streamed live at the time of the service via www.tphim.org, TPHIM Facebook live or TPHIM YouTube Channel. All in attendance must wear a mask.
