George Wesley Garriques

George Garriques a resident of Jacksonville, Florida was born on February 16, 1969 in Jamaica to Standford Garriques and Eugennie Gillings. He went off to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was employed by Ernie Palmer Toyota as a Car Salesman.

On November 22, 2018 he married the love of his life, Lilieth. Having three wonderful children was the most important part of his life. George loved to sing in his spare time. He became a great fisher over the passing years.

George was a devoted husband, father and marine. He was problem solver, who took on difficult and unwanted projects. He will deeply be missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.

George Garriques died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the age of 51. He was preceded in death by his father, Standford Garriques.

George is survived by his wife, Lilieth Garriques; his three children, Jazzmin Garriques, Jovan Garriques and Shyheim Garriques; stepson, Ajani Robertson; grandchildren, Kamarri Garriques and Jonah Garriques; mother, Eugennie Gillings; mother-in-law, Veronica Beecher; stepfather, Starling Gillings; brother, Stalin Gillings, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, co-workers and many sorrowing friends.
