Our beloved Gregory Leron Taylor, was born February 23, 1972 known as “Tutbe” to Annie Walden (John Walden) and Tom Taylor (Linda Taylor) in Jacksonville, Florida. He was educated in the Duval County School District and later relocated to Broward County where his life begun. On Thursday, March 9, 2023 Gregory Taylor ‘Passed Over” to enteral Life.
In his life, Gre” loved to be with his dear wife, Edwina Taylor and daughter, Quira Taylor. Especially, the love of his life” Edwina”, they were inseparable. Life with Greg brought fun, laughter’s, and excitement to anyone, who would listen and give him time.
It was a pleasure for him to open the hood of a car, fix on cabinets and DJ at the same time. Never a time he would turn anyone away who need a mechanic or new cabinets. Greg was full many surprises, he was a teacher and preacher when anyone needed advice. With his presence came, inspiration and faith to conqueror all things as he would say “You can do it, just believe in yourself”.
Most of his quality time was spent hanging out with his nephews, Donte Yancey, Germarus Jones and Trevarius Walker playing Xbox and looking at his favorite character Black Diamante while sitting in his designate lazy boy chair. His 25 years as a Renal patient did not hinder him from smiling and sharing his love with family and friends.
Greg will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory, grandmother, Onell Simpson; sisters, Gail Mann, Jackie Walden, Nicole Walden, Ashley Walden, and “his babe sis” Corrine Walden; brothers “Dre” Taylor and “Burger” Taylor; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing devoted friends.
