Henock Colimon Obituary

Henock Maurice Colimon, affectionately known as Pa Henock, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 79, in his home in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a devoted father, cherished brother, beloved uncle, and dear friend to many.

Born on March 14, 1946, in Grande Saline, Haiti, Henock was the second of five children born to the late Maurice Colimon and Jesula Charles He is survived by his sisters, Lucette Colimon Desir and Jacqueline Moore, while his beloved sister Josette Gourgue preceded him in death. His brother, Joseph Colimon, also remains to honor his memory.

Henock was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering kindness, and deep love for his family. His warmth and joyful spirit made him a pleasure to be around, and his presence brought happiness to those who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication, survived by his daughters, Slands StCyr (Guetchine) and Jesula Colimon; his sons, Steve and Henock Jr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Sonia, Hashana, Karma, Eddie, and Ja’kai. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Though he is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and devotion will live on in those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
