Henry L. Davis, II was an amazing father, son, fiancé and brother, who had a contiguous smile that could light up a room. Born to Ms. Gladys Jones and Mr. Henry L. Davis, Sr. on August 10, 1984 in Jacksonville, Florida. On March 23, 2021, Henry stepped from this physical life into life everlasting.
Henry was educated in the Duval County Public School System and was a proud member of the graduation Class of 2002 at William M. Raines Senior High School.
Henry efficiently known as, “Fat Boy” was employed at J.B. Coxwell, Inc. as a Frontend Loader Operator. He touched many hearts and was known in the community for kindness and a great measure of generosity.
Henry was preceded in death by his father Henry Leonard Davis, Sr.; his grandfather, Mr. Henry Mack Davis; one aunt, Ms. Lisa Davis.
Henry’s legacy will forever live in hearts of many, especially of his one and only son, Henry “Nation” Davis III; mother, Evangelist Gladys Jones-Rivers; fiancé, Ms. Neidra Alexander; grandfather, Mr. Frank W. Jones, II; grandmothers, Mrs. Rosa Joes and Mrs. Dorothy Davis: four sisters, Ms. Leonora Davis, Ms. Takelia Davis, Aaliyah Rivers and Amiyah Rivers; three brothers, Q’uion Davis, Glenn Rivers, Jr. and Cameron Davis; two nieces, Kourney Taylor and Camora Davis; seven uncles, Mr. Larry Davis, Mr. Walter Ervin, Mr. Jerry Davis (Audrey), Master Sgt. Paul Thornton (Michelle), Overseer Christopher A. Jackson (Lamonica), Mr. Frank Jones III and Mr. Alfred Jones (Patricia); five aunts, Ms. Joyce Ervin, Ms. Marilyn Davis, Ms. Paula Thornton, Mrs. Francina Jones-Prister and Ms. Valerie Jones; a great host of cousins, other family members; best friends, Jr., Isaiah, RJ and Mark; and a large community of friends.
