Obituary

On March 22, 2021, Homer Lee Dillard, Jr. gained his heavenly wings. He quietly answered the call of his Heavenly Father to reside in his heavenly kingdom.  Mr. Dillard was a faithful member of New Life Christian Fellowship until he answered the call of the Lord.

Mr. Dillard was a devoted husband and a wonderful provider for his family.  He was an amazing father to his sons and always taught them the value of hard work.  He was loved by all who knew him and lit up any room with his infectious smile.  He was a dedicated Truck Driver/Owner-Operator for 48 years and loved his profession.

Mr. Dillard is survived by his wife, Gloria Dean (Johnson) Dillard of Jacksonville; his two sons, Homer Lee Dillard, III (Shelby) of Holts Summit, MO, and Kenyon Jerome Dillard (Ursula) of Florence, SC; three brothers, Charlie Dillard (Gloria), Ricky P.
