Ms. Inez Williams was born May 22, 1945 in Dawson, Georgia to the late Howard and Alma Williams, she attended Stanton High School.
Inez was employed as a Seamstress for over thirty years. She was a member of Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed.
Inez Williams slept away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lula Bell Waters and Hattie Mae Williams; her brothers, Howard Williams, Jr., John Thomas Williams, Larry Williams, Ceardis Williams and Charlie Williams.
Inez Williams leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted companion for over fifty years, Arthur Riles, Jr.; her devoted daughter and caregiver, Tonya Williams (Sheldon); sons, Oscar Williams and Charles Williams; her loving and devoted sisters, caregiver, Jewell Hall (Sherman) and Gloria Evans (Chuck); brothers, Tommy Lee Williams and Major Hightower; devoted step-son, Curtis Nixon; grandchildren, Eric Smothers, Jr., Santana Williams, Vonshae Allen, Donisha Miller, Christopher Williams and Ayanna Williams; aunt, Jean Brown; nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
