Jeneria Sabrina Jasmin

October 29, 1961 ~ February 15, 2021 (age 59)


Jeneria was born October 29, 1961 to the union of John Bush and Margaret Jasmin in Jacksonville, FL. She matriculated thru the Duval County School System, graduating from Jean Ribault High School, class of 1979. She continued her education by attending Edward Waters College and receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Wiley University in Marshall, TX.

Jeneria worked as a teacher for Houston Texas Public School System, Loan Originator for Columbia National Mortgage, Inc in Columbia, MD, Toyota Financial Services, in Owings Mills, MD as a Retention Analyst and her final career was a Claims Adjustor for State Farm Insurance Company, where she retired from. Jeneria’s passions were cooking, shopping for deals, traveling (in particular cruises), dinning and hanging out with friends and family and celebrating with her Trojans class of 1979 high school classmates.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Jasmin; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Jasmin; paternal grandmother, Sarah Bush.

Jeneria leaves to celebrate her life, her father, John Bush; brothers, Dion Jasmin (Kiesha), Dijon Jasmin, Devol Jasmin (Kimberlie), Eric Bush, Darien Bush, and John S. Bush (Sherrian); sisters, Tonya Gallman (Andre), Nora Rainey (Tracy), Johnetta Grier-Jackson and, Lashawn Smith (Luther); many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Jeneria also leaves to cherish her memories friends, Johnette Simmons, Dorthiar Nelson, Doretha Johnson, Clairiette Jackson and Rosalyn Ford McKnight; and many other loving and devoted family members and friends.
