Joan White Wright was born on June 17, 1945 in Callahan, Florida to Willie and Leola White. Joan was a graduate of Pine Forest Community School and a member of Second Baptist Church for 60 years.
She was married to Joseph Wright, Jr. for 27 years and worked as a cashier at Olsteen’s and CVS Pharmacy for 30 years. Joan enjoyed crocheting, gardening, puzzles and people.
Joan passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 leaving behind a smile that will light up Callahan forever. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie White; mother, Leola White; sisters, Pauline, Juanita, Lillie, Ruth, Dorothy and Pearl; and brothers, Sylvester, Willie and Paul.
Joan leaves to mourn her passing but to cherish her memories, her children, Craig E. Busbee, Pauline Raysor (Charles), Joseph Wright, III (Jayson Force), Damien Wright and Michael Wright (Shelly); grandchildren, Charles Henry Raysor, Jr., Marcus Crowley, Markea Crowley, Ja’Quaria Wright, Mikayla Wright, Amelia Wright, Kai Wright and Kaior Bradley; great-grand, Aaliyah Ivy Raysor; siblings, Joann Cooper (her twin), Elizabeth Simmons and Lois Ann White Hare-Bey; in-laws, Kate White (Sylvester), Thomas Adams (Pearl), Herbert Wright, Johnnie Mae Killings, Rose Maynor and Laverne Segro; special family members, Yogi Melton (Sharblie), Lisa Simmons, Gini and Clarence Roberson, Pastor Tyrone Blue and Terrell Blue; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
