Joann Brown

Joann Brown was born July 8, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Margie and Joe Brady. She was educated in the Duval County Public Schools. She was employed with the Turtle Creek Health Care Center as a Nurse for many of years.

Joann quietly answered the Master’s call on Sunday, March 8, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Brown; mother, Margie Brady; and father, Joe Brady.

Joann leaves to mourn her passing but to cherish her memories, her children, Shetena Howard and Gary Howard; grandchildren, Shockrann Howard, Sr., Brandon Howard and Teairra Howard; great grands, Shockrann Howard, Jr., Semir Howard, Semira Howard and Ayden Howard-Lewis; siblings, Lenora Patten, Jeanette Hollingsworth (Glenn), Claudette Brady and Joe Brady (Carol); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
