Joseph Kim Lewis was born December 27, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Willie and Sylvia Lewis.
Joseph went to Forest Park Elementary School. John Gorrie Jr. High and N. B. Forrest Sr. High School.
Joseph worked at several Diesel Truck changing tires over the city. Joseph had a passion for taking care of dogs and breeding them.
Joseph and Sylvester were so close that we often called Joseph his son.
Joseph fought a hard strong battle and finished his course on Saturday, September 27, 2025 three months before his birthday. God called his name and he answered…
Joseph leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Jontil Lewis; one grandson, Antonio Spivey, Jr.; two brothers, Lloyd Fountain (Gail) and Sylvester Stevens; two sisters, Sonya Hutson and Berthines Black (Willie III); one aunt, Velma Jean Fountain; one uncle, James Lewis; a special friend of twenty-eight years, Pamela Hart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Sarah L. Carter's Funeral Home Northside is serving the Family.
