Joseph Daniel Murray, II

Joseph Daniel Murray, Jr. better known as “Joe” was born on December 11, 1949, in LaCrosse, Florida, to the late Rosa Bailey and Fred Bailey. He attended local schools in Duval County, where he spent his formative years.

He served briefly with the military from 1969-1973. Joe was well known throughout the community and affectionately recognized by many as “Joe Murray.” He will be remembered for the impact he made on those who knew him and for the relationships he built throughout his life.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Freddie Bailey and Michael Bailey; his children, Cherie Murray-Scott and Joseph (Joey) Murray III; his grandchildren, Savannah Estelle Bowman (Reese) and Chelsea Susie MaiElise Scott; his favorite cousins, Danny Jackson and Charles Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will continue to honor and remember his life.
