Kaytrenia Rock Obituary

Kaytrenia Lenet Rock was born on February 13, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida to Juanita Williams and Lewis Williams.

On June 22, 1985, Kaytrenia was united in marriage to Arthur Rock, Jr. They have four children: Micheal Walker, H. Bernard Walker, Tina Ogletree and Tammy Mutch.

Kaytrenia attended Duval County Public Schools. She was employed with Desert Rider Sandwich Shop as a cook and cashier; employed as cook at Jean Ribault and as a cook at Esprit de Corps Center for Learning until she retired.

On March 11, 1980, Kaytrenia received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and shortly after, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  She became a member of Hope Chapel Ministries where she served faithfully in the Hope Chapel Mass Choir and as a Nursery teacher in the Children’s Church Department.

Kaytrenia enjoyed shopping, cooking for her family and others. She called it her therapy. She won everyone over with her infectious smile, her warm hugs, kind heart and praying tongue.

Kaytrenia was called home on Friday, April 17, 2026.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Williams; father, Lewis Williams; two sisters, Elizabeth Porter (Nat), and Lillian Wright; two brothers, Edward Williams and Willie Williams; and close friend, Pamela Brown.

Kaytrenia will be greatly missed by her devoted husband, Arthur Rock; children, Michael Walker, H. Bernard Walker, Tina Ogletree (Will) and Tammy Mutch (Robert); thirteen grandchildren, Darrius Walker, Michael Walker, Jr., Darryl Blackshear, Travian Blackshear, Roderick Walker, Bakarri Mutch, Shakarri Mutch (David), Jakai Mutch, Kennedy Walker, Dana Walker, Darien Walker, Marcus Walker, and Willyawna Ogletree; twenty-one great grandchildren; devoted nephew, Vernell Bing; devoted niece, Beatrice (BeBe) Clark; special friends, Sandra Allen, Dorothy Bell (Luzohn), Barbara Clark (Benny), Deloris Milton, Lois Spatcher, Josie Griffin and Larry and Donna Hazouri; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and her church family.

Our love for Kaytreina is steadfast. We will miss her and remember the dedication, commitment, strength and everlasting love. She taught us how to preserve, fight, wait and triumph through any and every situation in life.  We cherish the blessing of God for allowing our lives to be touched by the rich blessing she’s been to us all.
