Kenneth Jones Obituary

Deacon Kenneth E. Jones was born May 9, 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida to Mose Jones and Mozell Jones. He was educated in the Duval County Public Schools. He was retired from the United States Army.

Kenneth was a member at Mt. Sanai Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Reginald L. Gundy since 2003, where he served as a faithful member, on the pastoral care committee and chairman of the Deacon Board. His favorite hobbies were, fishing and singing.

God saw fit to send His angel of death into the room of Deacon Kenneth E. Jones with its love and tender care to relieve him from the troubles of this world. On Friday, March 20, 2020, Deacon Kenneth E. Jones entered into his eternal rest to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Kenneth leaves to mourn his passing, but to cherish his memories, a son, Frank Kenneth Jones (Robin); grandson, Frank Carter Jones; sisters, Joyce Taylor (Vincent), Helen Merritt and Vernette Taylor; brother, Carl Jones (Lucreatia); special nephew, Robert Davis (Dr. Monica); companion, Lorraine Brown; special friend, Aaron Nelson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and many sorrowing friends.
