Kenneth Lloyd Robinson, Jr., also known as “Wilt” or “Slim” was born on July 17, 1957, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the eldest son of the late Kenneth Lloyd Robinson, Sr. and Ruthie Goshen. He graduated from Samuel W. Wolfson High School in Jacksonville, Florida class of 1975. He attended Florida Junior College at Jacksonville where he studied vehicular mechanics and received an Associate degree; afterwards, he became a truck driver and mechanic. Kenneth was an excellent craftsman of concrete formation. He helped to lay the foundation for many of the roads and sidewalks we travel around Jacksonville and surrounding areas today.
Kenneth loved the Lord! He was a dedicated supporter of Paxon Revival Center Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Whenever Kenneth had free time, you could find him servicing his own trucks, visiting his family, or streaming his favorite nature shows. He enjoyed eating boiled peanuts, fried fish and fried shrimp. Over the years, God blessed Kenneth to reposition his life, and he became known as a responsible, quiet, hardworking, giving, family man (one who laughed often).
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lloyd Robinson, Sr.; brother, Lester Robinson; and a special friend, Geraldine Johnson.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Ruthie Goshen; brothers, Christopher Robinson and Calvin Robinson; sister, Felicia George; step-sister, Lasaunjala Black (Larry, Sr.); step-brother, Reginald Robinson (Antoinette); aunts, Sherry Sanders and Chiquita Harper; uncle, Wilbur Sanders, Sr.; nieces, LaKisha Owens, Carissa Robinson, Cierra George (Emanuel) and Cherie Amaya (William); nephews, Christopher Robinson (Nicole), Calvin Robinson Jr. and Chaddrick George; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family, friends and colleagues.
