Kenneth Lauray Washington was born on August 25, 1960 to Ruby E. Johnson and Cleaster C. Washington in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the local schools in Duval County graduating from Ed White High School.
Kenneth was united in Holy Matrimony to Tijuana Washington. For the last 10 years he was working as a Longshoreman. He was rooted in the Baptist faith. He enjoyed coaching, watching football and basketball, he also enjoyed being a referee, barbecuing, being a dedicated husband, father and papa.
On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Kenneth Lauray Washington went home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby E. Johnson; and father, Cleaster C. Washington.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife, Tijuana Washington; children, Carlos Washington, Treyvon Washington, Lorenzo Lauray Washington, Jakiyah T. Washington, Shalarwn Cooper, Dauana Hairston, David Hairston and Jasmine Hairston; grandchildren, Cornelius, Shakiya, Ciera, Cunaye, Priceless, Priya, Seven, Savai, Jah’kure, Bryan, Iyonnah, Treasure, Alilah, Canah, Serabia and Kayion; father-in-law, Grant Cooper; in-laws, Seketa Simmons (Willie), John Hairston (Stephanie), Grant Cooper, Sr. and Yancey Hairston; special names, Al Dawson (Godbrother), Billy Mack, Sapp (Close Friend), Malik (Godson), Mel (Close Friend), John Hall (Friend) and Vince (Close Friend); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
