Lenora Isaac Williams, a longtime resident of 1116 Oakley Street peacefully ascended to her heavenly home on Friday, September 11, 2020. She was born to the late Bessie and Hamilton Baker on September 18, 1934 in Dublin, Georgia.
Lenora attended Mary Fleming High School in Dublin, Georgia. She was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church until her health failed.
Lenora was an excellent cook who worked for YWCA Cafeteria for several years. She retired from St. Luke Hospital (Mayo) after 20 years of dedicated services on June 1, 1991.
Lenora was preceded in death by her husband, James Williams. She leaves to mourn her passing but to cherish her memories, her three devoted children, Marion Crafton Gay of Jacksonville, Florida, Alphonzo Crafton (Sandra) of Dublin, Georgia and Cynthia Jenkins (Rayfield) of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren, Tamara Payton (Wardell), Julius LaRosa, Jr. (Latonya), Raynarldo Whitty Jenkins (Yolanda), Kynthia Anderson, Steven Gay (Nicholas), Crystal Jenkins, Kamorra Crafton and Alecia Crafton; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; godchildren, Elvis Jenkins, Sr., Betty Jenkins and Elvis Jenkins, Jr.; siblings, Eartha Baker (Ava), James Baker and Magaret Lattimore (Eddie); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
