Leonard Leon Wilson, Jr.

Leonard Leon Wilson, Jr. known as “Sweetman” passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Thursday January 14, 2021. Leonard was born January 24, 1966 in Jacksonville, Florida to Leonard Leon Wilson, Sr. and Zelma Fitzpatrick-Hughes. He attended Duval local schools and completed his education in Frankfurt Germany. He was employed with the International Longshoremen’s Association, Local 1408.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Leon Wilson Sr.; and grandparents, Willie and Lottie Wilson and Lewis and Lillie Fitzpatrick.  

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and faithful wife, Cynthia Wilson; parents Ronald and Zelma Hughes; sister Terri W. Fulton (Ray); aunt, Barbara J. Burch; uncles, Sidney Wilson (Gina) and Robert “Sluggo” Wilson; niece Ze’Terria Fulton; nephew, David Fulton; sisters-in-law, Cathy Webb and Khalilah Epps; and a host of cousins and many sorrowing friends.
