Leonie enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, attending church and was the mother of the church.

Leonie Stella Woods slept away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Santos.

Leonie leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Cherryle McCoy (Anthony), Patricia Woods, and Margaret Johnson (Eric); grandchildren, David, Dontaye, Dominic, Jason, Jordan, Remi, and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Nevaeh, David Jr. and Lila; sister, Lenora; brothers, Elloy and Russell; special name, Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
