Lois Ann James was born on August 22, 1948, Atlantic City, New Jersey to the late Richard and Susanna James. On Thursday, October 2, 2025, she went to receive her reward in heaven.
Lois was raised and lived in Egg Harbor and Newark, New Jersey before relocating to Jacksonville, Florida in 2017. She attended and graduated from Oak Crest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey and continued her education at Camden Business College in Camden, New Jersey.
Lois worked and retired as a Bank Teller with PNC Bank. She was a faithful member and church treasurer of Saint Paul CME Church in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. She transferred her church membership to Greater Grant Memorial AME Church when she moved to Jacksonville, Florida.
Lois was full of life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. May the memories she left behind hold a special place in our hearts.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Susanna James; brothers, Lawrence (Enda), Marvin (Burley), Andrew (Daisy), William (Rhudine), Harold, Richard, Albert, Stanley; and her sister, Sandra.
She is survived by her sister, Murdis Williams; special niece, Alicia Williams (Stephanne); special nephew, Rudolph Williams (Cynthia); along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
