Lois Jean Parker was born on February 22, 1953, to the late Mrs. Mildred Johnson White and Mr. Coy Lee White in Slocomb, Alabama. Lois was the third of five siblings, Lucille Council (Reverend Jerome), Grady White, John L. White and Posie White.
Lois graduated from Slocomb High School. She eventually moved to Jacksonville, Florida after she met and married Sgt. Henry Parker of the United States Air Force. They were married for thirty-six wonderful years.
Lois became a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was employed by Vistakon a Johnson and Johnson Company, for many years.
Lois was liked by everyone she met due to her outgoing personality and her flair for style. Many that knew her have fond memories of her. Lois poured herself into her family and friends with an always giving and loving spirit.
Lois favorite past times were cooking, shopping, crafting, interior design, decorating and traveling to be with her family.
Lois is survived by her husband, Henry Parker; daughter, Natasha Brown (Shimmel); son, Jimmy Cato, Jr.; stepdaughter, Cathy Fudge (Lateshia); beloved granddaughter and Lois baby, Saaliyah Brown. Lois also leaves a host of very much-loved nieces and nephews, who all held a special place in her heart along with many cousins and friends. Lois forged a special place in all our hearts.
