Lorretta Denise Robinson was born on August 13, 1971, in Daytona Beach, Florida, to her proud parents, Raymond Robinson Jr. and Rutha Toliver Robinson. She attended local schools in Jacksonville, Florida, including Fishweir Elementary School, Sandalwood Junior High School, and Sandalwood High School. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in Medical Records from Florida Junior College at Jacksonville. She later attended the University of North Florida for several years and ultimately received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Lorretta worked with Duval County Public Schools as a paraprofessional for approximately eight years and later served as a preschool teacher for a short period.
At the time of her passing, Lorretta was a faithful member of The Potter’s House International Ministry, where she served for over thirty-eight years. During that time, she was actively involved in the Children’s Ministry and the Hospitality Ministry.
Lorretta was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Robinson Sr., Ruth Toliver, and Elijah Toliver; her uncles, Elijah Toliver Jr., James Toliver, Joe Toliver, and Gerald Toliver; her aunt, Yvonne Robinson.
Loretta leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Raymond Robinson and Rutha Toliver Robinson; her brother, Julian Robinson (Tamara); her uncles, Jeffrey Robinson, Michael Robinson, Glenn Robinson, Samuel Toliver (Linda), Charles Toliver (Shantone), Alphonso Toliver (Sonya), Boyce Toliver (Sandra), and Aaron Toliver (Charlene); her aunts, Laurestine Robinson, Carrie Robinson, and Evelyn Wyatt (Chris); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special longtime friends are Sheldon and Jasmine Malone.
On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Lorretta received her wings at the age of 54. Her smile and cheerful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
