Mamie Louise Williams was born on March 23, 1956 to the late Mr. George Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Evelyn Williams in Jacksonville, Florida. Mamie attended the local schools of Duval County graduating from Stanton High School.
Mamie started working at UPS on September 28, 1978 and retired on August 30, 2018 after 40 years of dedicated services. She was a member of Titus Harvest Dome Spectrum Church under the leadership of the late Apostle RJ Washington.
Mamie mostly loved spending time with her loving daughter, she also enjoyed fishing, projects, spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
Mamie Louise Williams slept away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, George Williams, Sr.; mother, Evelyn Williams; brothers, Jimmy Lee Jenkins and Franklin D. Roosevelt Wallace and Richard Lee Williams.
Mamie leaves behind a loving and devoted daughter, Denika Von McCoy; four sisters, Mareatha Jinks (Walter), Katie Mathews (Eddie), Georgia Oliver (George) and Shelia Woodard; one brother, George Williams, Jr. (Alice); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
