May Porter Obituary

Ms. May Alice Duncan-Porter, affectionately known by her family and friends as “Gail” was born on August 11th, 1955 in Ocala Florida to the late Horace and Carrie Washington.

In 2007, Ms. May accepted Christ at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church. In later years, she became a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and in 2022 became a faithful member of Dream Church. Ms. May loved Christ, family and fellowship. She would spend time outside listening to her favorite artists ranging from The Williams Brothers to Keith Sweat. She touched everyone she encountered; she never met a stranger. Her love was big and pure.

Ms. May was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; her sister, Mary Bronson; brother; Wally Bronson; and nephew, Kevin Bronson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Mr. Earl Duncan, Jr. She was a beloved mother to Victoria Tampi (Joseph) and Esmond Duncan.  Her legacy extends to her grandchildren, Paul, Marquez, Marquis, Shanquez, Desire, Esmond Jr., Esmone, Robert Jr., Howard, Shermarkis, Desmond, Cameryn, Dev’veon, Kiryana, Emmanuel, Idiyah, Solomon, Es-zyria, Deriyelle, Jason and great grandchildren Lyric, Allyson, Khamir, and Mayson. Ms. May (Gail) will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, a multitude of friends and all who knew her.
