Mother Mildred Gloria Smith was born on November 3, 1925 to the late Rufus Graham, Sr. and Victoria Anderson Graham. She attended school locally in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mildred was married to the late Mose Smith, Jr. She had two sons, the late Robert L. Brown (Thelma) and Cleophis Brown (Betty).
Mildred was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, One Accord Prayer and Healing and Deliverance Ministries, Pastor Effie Slaughter. She was an Usher and very dedicated.
Mildred came from a large family. She now leaves to mourn three sisters, Jean Jones, Effie Slaughter and Alice Graham; one brother, Carl Graham (Tish); grandchildren, Maurio Brown (Tameka), Lindell Brown (Tina), Arnesha Brown, Robert Johnson (Susan), Samuel Adams (Chiquita) Laon Johnson (Renay), Thelmesia Polite, deceased (Kim), Roderick Brown (Toni), Rhonda Buckman (Eric), Reva Byrd (Derick), Michael Scott and Taiwan Brown; and a host of great grands, great great grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends. A special mention of her great grandson, Keishud Veney, who brought many smiles to his granny in the best or worse of times. She would always asked where is Keishod? She loved all of us.
Sarah L. Carter's Funeral Home Northside is serving the family.
