Missionary Luella Johnson Obituary

Missionary Luella H. Johnson was born on October 21, 1949 in Glen Allen, Mississippi to the late Reverend Collis Harris and Mrs. Mattie Shuler. She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Southside Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Edward Robinson, Sr. where she was a faithful member for many of years.

Missionary Johnson was a great, mother, loving grandmother, sister, aunt and great friend to all that knew her. She was a true woman of God and will be greatly missed.

Missionary Luella H. Johnson departed her life on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Orange Park Medical Center to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Mattie Shuler and Reverend Collis Harris; three sisters, Estella Harris, Julia Harris and Mary Harris; step-father, Buster Shuler; and step-mother, Delphia Harris.

Missionary Johnson leaves to cherish her precious memories, three children, Delnore Crayton (Sabrina) of Chicago, IL, Shawonna Woods (Adrian) and Michelle Mutch both of Jacksonville, FL; six sisters, Lucinda Williams of Columbus, GA, Dorothy Sanders (James), Delphia Edwards (Tommy) both of Hollandale, MS, Ora Murphy, Shirley Randle (Hosea) both of Rowlett, TX and Christina Jones of Garland, TX; two brothers, Collis Gordon (Barbara) of Chicago, IL and C. L. Harris (Barbara) of Hollandale, MS; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and many sorrowing friends.
