Mose Countryman, Jr. Obituary

Mose Countryman, Jr. was born on March 4, 1939 to Mose Countryman, Sr. and Fair Lillie Countryman in Dawson, Georgia. He received his education in the Terrell County School System.

Mose was United in Holy Matrimony to Virginia Countryman. He was employed with Jacksonville Naval Base most of his life. He later and for the remainder of his life owned his own auto mechanic business setting an example for his children regarding self-employment. He was a member of New Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Mose enjoyed fishing and rebuilding motors.

Mose Countryman, Jr. made his eternal transition on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 34 years, Annie Doris Pittman Countryman; daughter, Linda L. Brown; father, Mose Countryman, Sr.; mother, Fair Lillie Countryman; siblings, Willie James Countryman (Francis), Rosa Graham, Redeather Jordan, David Countryman (Mamie), Sammie Countryman, and Eddie Dean Freeman (William); mothers-in-law; Arsie Lee Pittman and Jeanie Wilson; father-in-law, Herman Lee Pittman, Sr.; brother-in-law, Jimmie Lee Pittman; sisters-in-law, Maxie Mansfield and Vickie Stewart.

Mose leaves to mourn his passing but to cherish his memories his wife of 21 years, Virginia Countryman; children, Maria Countryman, Mose (Rickey) Countryman, III (Zelbra), Leroy Yeartie, Sr., Phillip Countryman (Leslie), Michelle Blair (Calvin), Angelia Countryman, Paul Countryman, Todrick Countryman, and Cecil Countryman; grandchildren, Steven L. Gooden (Keisha), Sterling Gooden (Keri), LaDoris Gooden, Kimberly Kelly (Billy), Zaneisha Countryman, Mose Z. Countryman, Ervin Brown, Elton Brown, Leroy Yeartie, Jr., Brittany Wilson, Phillip Countryman, Jr., Nathan Countryman, Elizabeth Waldo, Larry Waldo, Jr., Quinton A. Waldo, Anthony Mose Waldo, Jasmine Weaver, Gabriella Countryman and Cecil Countryman, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Imani, Arella, Shiloh, Christopher Jr. “CJ”, Christina “Nina”, Sion, Darnell Jr., Joy, Major, Carter, Cannon, Cole, Adam, Ava, Ezio, and Gabriella; step grandchildren/great grands, LaTonia Miller (Maison Miller), Erica Greene (Sky Greene, Tyilivia Worthen, Tyirod Merritt), and Mike Greene (Michael Greene, Josias Greene, Mykila Greene); siblings, Richard Countryman, Jimmy “Shag” Countryman (Debra), Lula Bee Whitfield, and Rebecca Humphries; in-laws, Bennie Pittman, Herman Pittman, Clarence Pittman (Mackie) and Joanna Howe; special names, inspired/mentored many, to only name a few, Jason, Justin, Jr. and Reggie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
