Nelson Osteen Jones, Sr.

Nelson Osteen Jones, Sr. was born December 26, 1976 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Denease Donica Jones and Roy Harvey Owens, Sr. He was educated in the Duval County Public Schools.

Nelson was united in Holy Matrimony to Phoebee Jones on September 9, 2015. He enjoyed listening to music and playing with his family and friends.

On Saturday Morning, May 9, 2020 at 12:32am, Nelson Osteen Jones, Sr. entered into his eternal rest to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Denease Donica Jones.

Nelson leaves to mourn his passing, but to cherish his memories, his wife, Phoebee Jones; children, Hennessey Denease Jones, Nelson Osteen Jones, Jr. and Jovan Nelson Jones; grandchildren, Ka’Myah Denease Leonard and Ka’Leah Renee Leonard; father, Roy Owens, Sr. (Alvie); like a mother, Salesa Williams; siblings, Alesa Williams, Pastor Roy Owens, Jr., Donald Jones, Sr. (Sandra), Aneesah Nichol Jones-Brown, Lamar Lewis Ivory (LaToya), Donta Waters, Lacendia Mitchell (Arthur), Shcle Clements and Nadia Clements; stepchildren, Tashaon (Tae Tae), Shalai (Chillie), Intahntea (Tigger), Alavion (AO), Aasia (Bootie), Kanique and Andre (Dre); step grandchild, Mosaic (MoMo); nieces and nephews, Katrina Williams, Savanna Williams, Nevaeh Wallace, Ralphangel Williams, Donald Jones, Jr., Deshaun Jones, Destiny Jones, Nataya Owens, Kayla Norris, Patricia Norris and Jordyn Brown; in-laws, Rudolph, Nefrrtik, Cindy, Gerilynn, Natalie, Rudolph, Jr., Andrea, Brittany, Daniel, Racine, Tammy, Joseph and Brandy; special names,  Randy L.
