Otis Lee Anderson, Jr.

Otis Lee Anderson, Jr. was born on November 12, 1998 to the proud parents, Otis Lee Anderson, Sr. and Denise Glanton Anderson. He attended the local schools of Duval County, graduating from University Christian High School - Class of 2017. He furthered his education at University of Central Florida.

While playing football at UCF as a running back, Otis rushed for 2,182 rushing yards (9th in UCF history); 3,708 all-purpose yards (8th in UCF history); 27 touchdowns (8th in UCF history) and 6.1 yards per carry (second in UCF history). In 2021 Otis signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. 

Otis was also a member of the the prestigious Lambda Omega, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. He had a love for track and field, traveling and playing PlayStation 5.

Otis Lee Anderson, Jr.’s book of life closed on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Glanton, Sr. and Henry Anderson, Sr.; and nephew, Joshua Scales. 

Otis leaves precious and fond memories to his mother, Denise Anderson; father, Otis Anderson, Sr.; siblings, Candice Scales (Louis) and Samantha Anderson; grandmothers, Maxine Glanton and Geraldine Anderson; great grandmother, Mattie Glanton; girlfriend, Ria Skylar Brooks; nieces and nephews, Jahein Moore, Louis Scales III, Jocelynn Scales, Jarrod Cody, Neveah Cody and Bryce Cody; godparents, Charles and Debra Glanton; godbrothers and sisters, Dariyon Sibley (Tweet), Brendalyn Glanton, Dr. Darius Williams, Ariana Denson, Genesis Brown, Elijah Davis, Elajah Davis and Ramon Davis, Jr.; special friend/brother, Donnie Weatherspoon; honorary uncles, Calvin Henderson and Donnie Weatherspoon, Sr.; honorary aunt, Keisha Weatherspoon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, extended family and many sorrowing friends.
