Patricia Andrews Obituary

Patricia Yvette Andrews was born September 11, 1965 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Johnnie Wright and the late Debra Andrews. She moved to Daytona Beach, Florida at an early age where she attended the Public Schools. Patricia relocated back to her hometown of Jacksonville in 1983 with her adopted parents the late Robert and Edna Jackson.

Patricia was employed at First Coast Laundry. She loved being with family and friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Patricia was the life of all gatherings. She loved to travel with family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother.  She truly loved her family. She was a die-hard Cowboys Fan and loved to represent them in her blue and silver.

Patricia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her kids’ father, George Christopher Woods; her son, Brandon Woods; her grandson, Davarus Lawson, Jr.; her father, Johnnie Wright; her mother, Debra Andrews; her adopted parents, Robert and Edna Jackson; her paternal and maternal grandparents.   

Patricia leaves to mourn her passing, her son, George Woods, Sr.; three daughters, Sheree Larkins (Dannel), Brittany Jackson and Patrice Jackson; seventeen grandchildren, Ariyah, Kanala, George Jr., Jermoni, Herschel, Jermaine, Hersheon, Geoquan, Geordon, Georvon, Kennedi, Kendall, Isyeon, Kendrick, Kali, Mykel and Davaria; one brother, Anthony Denson (Vanessa); one sister, Melissa Denson; stepmother, Margaret Denson; aunts, Cynthia Andrews and Vera Carbert; uncles, Rudy Wight, William Wright and Louis Wright; godmother, Julia Howell; godbrother, Carl Howell; godsister, Laura Howell; best friends, Julia Woods, Natasha Lofton, Johnnie Bell Counts and Rosetta Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and  many sorrowing friends including The Wright’s, McClendon’s, Daytona Family and Savannah Family.
