Rayfield Jenkins Obituary

Rayfield (Goldie) Jenkins was born on January 12, 1957, to Alvin and Audrey Jenkins in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the local school of Duval County graduating from Andrew Jackson High School class of 1974. He furthered his education at FCCJ receiving an Associate's Degree.

Rayfield was united in Holy Matrimony to Cynthia Yvonne Jenkins on August 29, 1986. He was employed at the United States Post Office where he retired after years of dedicated service.

Rayfield Jenkins answered the Master’s call on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Audrey Jenkins; and siblings, Phyllis Best and Alvin Jenkins, Jr.

Rayfield leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife, Cynthia Jenkins; children, Raynarldo Whitty Jenkins (Yolanda), Julius LaRosa, Jr. (LaTonya) and Crystal Jenkins; grandchildren, Jermaine, Necoia, Kingston, Jewela, Julius III, Jagger, and Phoenix; brother, Elvis Jenkins, Sr. (Betty); special nieces, Raquel Hall (Thomas), and Wendy Denise Holley; special aunt, Wendy Way (Boyd); nephews, Julius Best, Jr., and Elvis Jenkins, Jr.; goddaughter, Nikia Vereen; in-laws, Alphonzo Crafton (Sandra) and Marion Gay; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
