Robert Reddick Obituary

Robert L. Reddick “Bobby”, was born on February 7, 1949 to the late Melvin James Reddick, Jr. and Katie McKeever Reddick.

Bobby attended local schools of Duval County and was a graduate of William Raines High School. He spent several years with the City of Jacksonville, then driving long distance for a trucking company. He best loved working as a mechanic repairing auto transmissions. Bobby last worked as a painter at Naval Air Station Mayport.

He gave his life to Christ and received the Right Hand of Fellowship at New Dimensions Church of God by Faith in 2008.

Bobby married his high school sweetheart, Hattie Cyler and to this union was born their only child, Rosetta Reddick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Katie Reddick and James Reddick, Jr.; and brother, Carlton McKeever.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Rosetta Reddick; a brother, Raymond Reddick (Maryam); two sisters, Paula McGriff (Curtis) and Talona Reddick; three grandchildren, Eltenece Reddick, Brittany Perkins (Christopher) and Brandon Reddick; nine great-grandchildren, Jayden Counts, Rhyan Reddick, Lyrik Perkins, Christopher Perkins, Jr., Blaze Jossey, Kenzo Jossey, Layah Reddick, Ca’Mariyah Lewis, and Leh’Lani Collins; aunt, Valleria Reddick; godchildren, Leonard Clark and Davionna “Shay” Clark; a great neighbor and friend, Ms. Brenda Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
