Robin Y. Johnson

Robin Yevette Yancey was born on May 18, 1969, to the late Jake Robinson and Mayrose Yancey. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where she completed her education at Englewood High School and later took classes to become a certified home health aide.

Robin was a faithful member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. She showed her love by doing what she loved most: cooking.

Robin slept away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 18, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Larry Yancey and Terry Yancey.

Robin leaves to cherish her memories with her longtime companion, Randy Johnson; two children, Brian Brown (Amanda) and Justin Yancey. Robin has three grandchildren, Wallace Brown, Alannah Thomas, and Alexander Thomas; four siblings, Lonnie Yancey (Faye), Perry Yancey (Donna), Rosemary Yancey and Kathy Cummings-Nissen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
