It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rodney Lamont Henry, a beloved husband, father, son brother and uncle, who left this world on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Rodney was born on July 29, 1967, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Barbara Henry Hawkins (Thomas Hawkins) and the late Ezekiel Henry, Jr. Rodney was cherished by his wife, Jacqueline Clarke Henry; two daughters, Asia Henry and China Henry, and his younger brother, Chris Henry.
Rodney’s attended Fort Knox School System and Florida State University then later joined the United States Navy. He later attended Jersey College where he obtained his RN Degree.
In Rodney’s personal life, he found great joy in fishing, traveling, and watching TV especially while cheering on THE FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES. He was a die-hard Seminole and would often say he bleeds garnet and gold. He loved going to watch his Seminoles play with his brother Chris.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories a devoted and loving wife, Jacqueline Clarke Henry; daughters, Asia Henry and China Henry; mother, Barbara Henry Hawkins (Thomas); brother, Chris Henry (Jonalene); niece, Josalyn C.
