Rosetta Blue-Lattimore Obituary

Mrs. Rosetta Blue-Lattimore affectionately known as Rose passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on March 15, 2024. She was born June 3, 1954, in Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida a daughter of the late Essie Mae Mitchell and Benjamin Blue. Mrs. Lattimore attended local schools and completed her associate degree from Florida State College of Jacksonville in accounting.

Rosetta was married over twenty years to Darryl Lattimore and was devoted to her four children, Glenn Felix, Jr. (Christina), Katrina Walbey (Antonio Sr.), Renardo Felix (Nickie) and April Velvet (Donald); her fifteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rosetta Lattimore was a long-standing member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church where she served in ministries including the choir.

She retired from Stein Mart Corporate Offices where she worked in their accounting department.

Rosetta Lattimore’s hobbies included home interior and floral design and she was passionate about spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rosetta was cherished by her siblings, Barbara Jean Carter, Sharon Bell, Patricia Cherry, Paula Holley, Simona Davis, and her departed brothers (Donnie and Benjamin Blue who preceded her in death.); Carol Winn, Cecila Washington, Smyrna’s Blue (Carl), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rosetta’s vivacious and spirited personality left a lasting impression on all that knew her. Her smile, eyes and infectious laughter will be missed immensely by her family and friends.
