Royline Rea Burgoyne of Jacksonville, Florida departed her life peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026. She was born on July 28, 1954, to the late Leroy Currelley and Margie Rea Currelley. She attended 144 Jacksonville Beach, Florida and Southside Elementary Jacksonville, Florida. Royline married Todd Burgoyne in her early years.
Royline was embodiment of a free heart; a passionate soul who saw the world through kind eyes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Currelley and Margie Currelley; daughter, Tabatha Currelley; brothers, Kenneth Currelley, Sr., Leroy Currelley, Larry Currelley and Billy Currelley; and sister, Ruby Shears.
She is survived by her children, Jeane’t Tirado; grandson, Jonathan McGowan (Chelsey); granddaughter, Jaionni McGowan; and great granddaughter, Halo McGowan.
Tasha Currelley; grandson, Jakarie Jones; granddaughter, Makayla Smith; grandson, Jaylon Wallace; sister, Monae Williams and great-granddaughter, Kamara Thorns.
She is also survived by her sisters, Ida Martin of Oakland, California, Valerie Burrell of Atlanta, Georgia, Margie Moody (Phillip) of Satsuma, Alabama, Grace Mitchell (Grover) of Jacksonville, Florida, Christine Hindes (Delvera) of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Geneve Mincey (Jack) of Marietta, Georgia; brothers, Johnny Wade, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Jerome Currelley (Temetrice) of Covington, Georgia.
Royline leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Royline Rea Burgoyne will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory forever inspire love, faith, and a kind spirit of service to others.
