Shantel Ennis Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Shantel Patrice Ennis, who departed this life on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of 29. Shantel a true free spirit whose laughter was contagious and energy filled every room.

She was known for her adventurous heart and warm, magnetic personality, she lived life out loud. Whether dancing to her favorite song, lighting up gatherings with her humor, or making spontaneous plans just to bring joy to others, she showed us what it meant to live fully and fearlessly. Her zest for life was only matched by her deep compassion for those around her.

Among the most cherished parts of Shantel’s life was the incredibly close bond she shared with her mother, Patricia Sales more than a parent and child, they were best friends-an unbreakable pair who celebrated, supported, and stood by each other through everything. Their relationship was a beautiful testament to unconditional love, and it remains a source of strength and inspiration to all who witnessed it.

Shantel was a radiant light, a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence left an indelible mark on every life she touched. Born on August 22, 1995, Shantel was a proud graduate of Jean Ribault Senior High School, Class of 2014. She was also dually enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she earned additional academic achievements. After completing her studies, she graduated from the Parisian Spa Institute as a licensed esthetician, pursuing her passion for beauty and skincare with dedication and grace.

Shantel was employed by the City of Jacksonville, but her heart led her to pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. She began working as a licensed esthetician—a calling she fulfilled with excellence and grace. Her clients knew her as more than just a professional—she was a healer of both skin and spirit, bringing beauty and confidence to those around her. Her skill, care, and warm energy made her an extraordinary esthetician.

From the age of seven, Shantel dedicated her life to glorifying God through anointed dance ministry. When she danced, the atmosphere shifted—the presence and anointing of the Lord filled every room she entered. She ministered not only with her body but with her entire being, blessing countless souls with her gift. She had a bubbly and infectious spirit that could light up any space. Her laughter, spontaneity, and love for travel made her unforgettable. She lived fully, loved deeply, and left an undeniable legacy of joy, faith, and strength.

Shantel leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Patricia Sales and Bishop A. Jerome Sales; dad, George Macer and her beloved fiancé, Michael Fulmore. She was preceded in death by her father, Sandy Wilson. She was a proud and devoted mother to her beautiful children, Timothy, Carter, Amir, Michael, MaKyla, Kaylee, Braylon, and Branson. She is also survived by her cherished siblings, Mason Wilson, Xavier Macer, Monique Macer Joshua Sales (Renata Reed), Dominic Macer (Mi’Lisa), George Macer, and Trevon Nevares. Shantel is also lovingly remembered by her granny, Versa Sales, who was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love in her life.

In addition, she shared a particularly close bond with her special aunt and second mother, Angela Edwards (Rick), whose unwavering love and support were constant sources of strength throughout Shantel’s life. She is remembered fondly by a host of other aunts, uncles, nephews, relatives and friends all of whom were blessed to share in her life and light.

Though her time with us was brief, Shantel’s impact was immeasurable. Her legacy lives on through her children, her family, her ministry, and all those blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed, but we rejoice knowing she is now dancing in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly.
