Shawn D. Johnson, Jr.

Shawn Darian Johnson, Jr. better known to the world as “Larde” was born on May 13, 2003 to Mr. Shawn V. Johnson Sr., and Ms. Octavia L. Shubert. Reared in Jacksonville, Florida, he received his education attending Duval County Public Schools. Shawn Jr., confessed Christ at an early age, at the Sweetfield Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Richard R. Ross.

Larde had an irreplaceable spirit that was full of life; whether it was his laughter, playing pranks, or even telling his jokes. He was great at using his hands when being asked to do a task. With little direction needed or required, Larde would get the job done. The memories and love shared with his family, will always and forever be engraved in our hearts.

Shawn Darian Johnson, Jr. answered the master’s call on Monday, April 18, 2022. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Barbara Jean Watkins.

Shubert; grandmothers, Delinda Watkins, and Terry Brown; brothers, Nicholas Shubert and Joshua Shubert; sister, Korinthya Johnson; uncles, Johnnie Glasper (Falonda) and Brian Watkins; aunts, Barbara Watkins, Latoya McKay (Damion), and Lakeila Brown; niece, Alayah Shubert; special friend, Callie Bell; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
